Un ringraziamento doveroso e Luzio e Oby che mi hanno raccattato e portato con loro. È stata una bellissima giornata prima di tutto per le persone presenti: Lucio, Oby, Lorenzo, Vincenzo, Mosquy, Nitro, Mirko. Il comodino dico È una trapeze '52, convertita con studs e wraptail. Lavoro fatto sicuramente tanti tanti anni fa, perché quel tailpiece sembra essere stato lì da sempre, in relazione all'invecchiamento del top e alle "shadows" lasciate sulla vernice, però è sicuramente una '52. Il wraptail viene introdotto a metà '53, prima col wraptail thin ears, poi verso fine '53 \ primi '54 con il classico fat ears che viene usato ancora oggi; inoltre sulla chitarra ci sono i tre forellini visibili sul "culo", vicino all'attaccacinghia, tipici del ponte trapeze, angolo del neck 1⁰, nel vano pots c'è il foro rettangolare per la massa tipico delle '52, nessun seriale sulla paletta, top più flat, pots IRC con alberino pieno tutti datati '52, knobs "tall barrell", bushings esagonali delle meccaniche (che si trovano esclusivamente in quel periodo). Ho anche ipotizzato possa essere una di quelle in spanish cedar, prodotte in pochi esemplari solo in quel periodo, perché la chitarra è leggerissima, e lo spanish cedar è più leggero del mogano normalmente... credo questa sia la Les Paul (non alleggerita) più leggera che abbia mai preso in mano, fa 3,47kg. Il prezzo, considerando quanto è figa (almeno per gli amanti del look heavy aged ), la leggerezza, la custodia originale e non ultimo il fatto che suona benissimo, è comunque molto buono. L'avrei presa volentieri se avessi potuto, ma... per fortuna è venuta qui vicino e la suonerò spesso 3 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
