Fra gli stili musicali che mi appassionano c'è il maqam arabo le quali scali sono composte anche da note che distano un quarto di tono fra di loro.

Spulciando sul web mi sono imbattuto in questa chitarra che la Ibanez produce solo per i paesi arabi e che è costruita con una tastiera i quali fret sono posizionati in modo da riprodurre il suono delle note "quarto di tono" delle scale arabe.

Peccato che i nostri negozi occidentali non importano questo tipo di prodotti che francamente potrebbero fare gola agli appassionati di musica orientale:
