Ok, sono completamente ignorante sui talk box. Mi sapete indicare quali modelli esistono? non riesco a capire se vanno usati con microfoni esterni, vorrei capire un pò di routing nei quali utilizzarli. Io vorrei inserirlo in loop al kemper così poi posso inserirlo in qualsiasi punto della catena, diversa da preset a preset, esistono modelli particolari per l'uso che ne devo fare io? considerate che il loop del kemper è completamente configurabile per poter essere utilizzato con pedali o rack

My two cents:

I talk box sono dei piccoli amplificatorini/altoparlantini. Ne esistono grosso modo due tipi: quelli che si collegano per essere pilotati da un amp, e vanno nell'uscita speaker, e quelli che possono inserirsi in catena.

Il Dunlop Heil Talk Box rientra nella prima categoria, il rocktron Banshee (di cui esistono due modelli, il 2 e più recente ha anche una mandata S/R per effetti) nella seconda.

Il principio è che il suono esce dal piccolo altoparlante NEL pedale, viene convogliato nel tubo e il tubo arriva in bocca; muovendo la bocca cambia il suono, che dalla bocca poi esce entrando in un microfono (quello per voce) che segue il percorso --->mixer--->PA.

 

Il secondo tipo lo puoi mettere in catena, quando funziona ovviamente non manda segnale all'out. Il primo tipo lo devi collegare ad una uscita dell'ampli.

Il primo tipo prende il segnale amplificato, il secondo fa tutto da solo.  :smile:

 

Recentemente credo che la MXR ne abbia fatto uno bianco che va in catena come il Banshee.

Dice bene bobb,

nel tuo caso dovresti pensare a un Banshee.

Io avevo ottenuto comunque risultati ben più che accettabili (nel senso di verosimiglianza con un Talk Box, perchè in termini assoluti erano eccellenti) con il vocoder dell'Orville.

Microfono--->preamp--->Orville (in uno degli ingressi).

il microfono preamplificato va nell'in3 dell'orville.

Dal menu puoi scegliere se dirottare la voce nell'in del vocoder o nell'out 3

poi c'è anche un flanger e il menu per scegliere vocoder o flanger, non ricordo bene

Dal menu puoi scegliere se dirottare la voce nell'in del vocoder o nell'out 3

poi c'è anche un flanger e il menu per scegliere vocoder o flanger, non ricordo bene

:facepalm:  Seb sei un grandissimo! ma a sto punto io non capisco una cosa.. sto talk box è uno strumento a se che prende le note fatte dalla bocca o è un modulatore che filtra i segnale della chitarra in base a come noi muoviamo la bocca? è una specie di superwha?

è un po' l'una e un po' l'altra.

Se ci pensi il vocoder si presta bene a 'simulare' il talk box.

Con il Talk Box il suono della chitarra esce dal tubo e passando dalla bocca prende le caratteristiche timbriche della bocca, Ooaaaahh Oeeeaiaaaaouuh...  Do you feel like we do (cit.)...

Il vocoder, per dirla facile facile, prende due fonti e ne usa una per il pitch, un'altra per il timbro. Ora, non è esattamente in questi termini ma vabbè.

 

Quindi puoi usare il vocoder per far cantare la tua chitarra con la tua voce.

Io lo usavo per fare sia la parte di talk box di Pigs three different ones che per declamare il salmo in Sheep (entrambi da Animals).

 

Quello che ti ho dato lo devi settare per bene e trovare le giuste frequenze che ti danno la risonanza che cerchi, poi funziona quando contemporaneamente suoni una nota o un accordo, ed emetti un suono nel microfono, se manca una delle due si ammutolisce
