La musica, piú delle altre arti, é talmente variegata che é impossibile mettere d'accordo tutti. Ci sono peró alcune pietre miliari che a mio parere entrano nel campo dell'oggettivitá

Bisognerebbe fare un topic "filosofico" in cui si cerca di capire perché si litiga sempre su questi argomenti. Le Veritá assolute non ci sono nell'Arte e bisognerebbe cercare di essere un po' piú open minded. Basta poco per capire che c'é piú musica in Obladi Oblada che in tutta la discografia di Hendrix ;-) Secondo me il "mi fa cagare" é un'affermazione che forse a volte puó innervosire. Per esempio, io di Jimi conosco 6 pezzi. Non lo ascolto MAI. Le poche volte che lo sento non riesco a farlo per piú di 1 pezzo, ma non mi sognerei mai di dire che mi fa cagare, perché ne riconosco la grandezza e l'importanza come chitarrista. Quando poi apre bocca per cantare...é lí che mi fa inorridire. Quando lo ascolto mi piace, ma non riesco ad appassionarmi...stessa cosa x Led Zeppelin ecc.

A parte che quelli che chiami Grigi, sono coloratissimi: 3 grigio topo e 2 grigio azzurro. Un pedale ha i pot neri, 2 li hanno bianchi e 2 li hanno color crema...

Beh, la chitarra é sempre una Strato...quindi suona da Strato anche col Floyd Rose...no? ;-)

Pete mi ha mandato la scheda tecnica del CC-1, il suo nuovo overdrive. Se a qualcuno interessa... PETE CORNISH CC-1 My new Crunch pedal, which has taken over a year to perfect, is being introduced in January 2013 . The CC-1™ is not a variant of any existing product but a completely new and original design. The CC-1™ features two fixed low gain Soft Clipping Stages preceded by a variable gain (maximum +22dB) linear preamp to compensate for low output pickups and provide extra drive to the soft clipping stages if required. The advantage of using two low gain Soft Clipping Stages rather than hard diode clipping is that they are effectively (and automatically) removed from the audio path when the signal level drops below their transition point - ensuring a complete “cleanup” if the guitar volume is reduced. As the signal level increases due to stronger playing the soft clips gradually engage and start to add harmonics - more signal = more harmonics - but the loudness continues to increase as there is no clamping of the signal peaks. Dynamics are therefore preserved and superb musicality results. Following on from the Soft Clipping Stages is a three band active EQ using frequencies I have specifically tailored to suit guitars. Being active, the three tone bands can be both cut and boosted as desired with the zero or neutral point being 12 o'clock on each control knob. I have included a second linear boost stage after the tone circuit to compensate for any reduction in overall volume when the tones are in "cut" mode. The benefits of this active tone circuit, compared to the usual passive (Cut only) tone circuit is that the three bands are completely independent and there is no inter reaction between the Bass, Middle and Treble tone controls. An output Master Volume is included to allow for perfect matching between bypassed and boosted/EQ’d signal level and there is plenty of signal headroom available to overdrive amp inputs if required. My well established Class A input buffer and radio frequency suppressor is, of course, included and the output buffer impedance is low; to easily drive long cables or other loads without loss of signal or tone. Technical Specification: Overall boost with Gain = 100% and Volume = 100% is +34 dB Overall boost with Gain = 0% and Volume = 100% is +12 dB The above with Bass, Middle and Treble set to 50% (Neutral point). Bass Control range +/- 13dB @ 70Hz Mid Control range +/- 15dB @ 1.5KHz Treble Control range +/-16dB @ 5KHz Maximum signal output with Volume 100% is +10dBm/ 2.5vrms/6v Peak to Peak. Dipende come interpreti tu il concetto di davanti e dietro...

É un pedale che mette un sacco in mostra la mano del chitarrista: lo si puó far suonare in molti modi diversi solo usando la dinamica della mano destra. Non ha tantissimo gain, ma ha un sustain pazzesco e un suono grossissimo. Per certe cose mi ricorda il Watt Drive primo canale, ma questo é ancora di piú. Pedale che mi piacerebbe avere e provare magari con un od che boosta in pre. Che cosa usavi Ema?
