Sulla fruibilità è solo una questione di abitudine, Holdsworth fa melodie articolate spessissimo, non vuol dire che siano brutte anzi a me personalmente certe dissonanze certi richiami tra gli accordi piacciono tantissimo!

Anche sul suono VH era avanti, son due grandissimi, per motivi diversi come detto sopra.

Ocio il chorus è parte del suo suono , ma se ti riferisci al timbro tipico della distorsione usava yamaha dg prima e ora hughes & kettner, se non ricordo male con i dg c'è un banco di fabbrica da cui partiva come base, molto poi lo fanno le mani, le sue mani.
