Ho tardato un sacco ad aprire questo thread, un pò perchè non mi piace far foto, un pò per pigrizia, un pò per pudore che c'è tanta gente che ha roba tanto meglio del mio rig modesto. Però sono fiero e soddisfatto delle cose che ho accumulato e di come suonano, perciò mi pareva il caso di aprire finalmente una piccola gallery. Qui c'è praticamente tutto quello che ho, o meglio, tutto quello che conta. Resta fuori qualcosina, che in questo momento non uso o che è di davvero poco valore o entrambe le cose. Prima la 330, luce dei miei occhi: Poi la Oxblood, insostituibile anch'essa, e fida compagna dal 2008. Poi la Studio del 95, chitarra che ho da eoni, un pò negletta povera, ma suona sempre bene. Di stock non è rimasto penso nemmeno il jack femmina. Qui ho cercato di catturare l'armwear, con risultato penoso.. I pedali penso li riconosciate tutti, nulla di esoterico, ma tutta bella roba (IMO - TU-2 a parte ma è un evergreen e fa il suo porco mestiere). L'ampli, meravigliosa Reeves Super '78 50 watt con la sua cassa made in Hope che si è recentemente comportata meravigliosamente in studio di registrazione, mostrando ancora una volta che l'artigianato italiano merita rispetto.. Come sonorità va dal suono sporco dinamico al crunch pieno e cazzuto, se uno ci fa hard rock anni 70 - primi 80 può usarlo tranquillamente senza pedali, io personalmente preferisco usarlo con un suono di suo crunchoso e poi spingerlo con il klon o con l'ep booster per essere un pò più flessibile col gruppo. Non è uno di quegli ampli che hanno bisogno del pedale per suonare "tight", infatti altri overdrive usati come boost rischiano di suonare sottili e semplicemente meno bene della testata da sola con una tacca di gain tirato più su. Ha un suono di base che puoi scolpire secondo le tue esigenze di mix del gruppo o di chitarra che stai usando, ma non stravolgere più di tanto. E' un ampli medioso, buca bene, votato al rock, aggressivo in senso "old school" diciamo. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Mi piacerebbe eventualmente mettere un Lollartron al manico (anche se il Mito su questa chitarra suona davvero stupendamente) e un p94 al ponte. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

La suono per 10 minuti ogni 6 mesi di media, giusto per vedere se funziona ancora. Non è proprio il mio tipo di ampli! Quindi in pratica sì, la uso da soprammobile! La Oxblood ha i PMS 57 double white, al manico poi ho montato una cover throbak. Il Bigsby è strafigo ma devi sapere cosa compri, a livello di funzionalità, perchè il suo uso è per un vibrato, specie su accordo, ma poco più.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Konkey Dong 627 Report post Posted July 2, 2013 Difatti avevo guardato su Thomann e comprandolo nuovo, con l' aggeggio per montarlo senza bucare il top, avrei speso intorno ai 300 neuri e l' avrei messo al 95% per ragioni estetiche... Anch' io ho i PSM '57 sulla CR8! Come ti è cambiato il suono con la cover? Io li presi scoperti perchè così mi consigliò Max anche se la cover relic per quanto mi riguarda è il massimo sulle R8&Co.
