Un paio di pagine fa è stata postata una foto dello scasso del pickup al manico dove si nota che il legno del corpo é biondo,al contrario del rosso acceso tipico del mogano africano...questo perchè c'è effettivamente un numero di specie di meranti/lauan/mogano filippino di quel colore utilizzato,fra le altre cose,in liuteria come sostituto del vero mogano,essendo molto più economico (nonchè enormemente piú disponibile). Come peculiaritá ha una densità inferiore al Mogano vero e proprio nonchè una durezza nella scala di Janka molto più bassa e generalmente inferiore alla maggior parte degli hardwood,giusto qualcosa più del basswood a seconda della specie.

Se la chitarra e' in Nato/meranti come un po' tutta la produzione cinese-koreana-indonesiana relativa al mogano,allora è normale sia leggera,è un legno meno denso e pesante del mogano "regolare"

Se ti capita un buon usato prova lo screamin demon al ponte,non so come sia sulle lp ma io mi ci sto divertendo parecchio

No attento che sbagli,quella che hai linkato é la ESP horizon custom,del customshop Esp giapponese.Il modello che hai tu formalmente è ora rimarchiato E-II come tutte le vecchie Esp Standard,per quanto molti abbiano lamentato un controllo qualita' scadente nelle E-II,che secondo alcuni non sarebbero a livello delle Std,ma non sono in grado di confermarlo.Le specs dovrebbero comunque esser quelle

Eccolo là,accesso scomodo io ripeto,se hai possilita' anche remote di provare una mayones regius,allora fiondati,liuteristicamente pari se non superiori alle PRS e sicuramente più vicini ad una Esp come concezione

Jolly magari l'hai già detto e,complice la navigazione da cellulare,me lo sono perso, ma tu quanto ci tieni all impostazione shreddaiola della Esp?perche' se la risposta è "molto",io piú che Gibson guarderei Mayones o Caparison.Passare da un manico Thin U molto sottile come quello della Horizon ad uno più grosso,e rinunciare all accesso agli ultimi tasti assai agevolato tipico di quel genere di chitarra può essere un po' traumatico,soprattutto se sei uno che suona molto sui registri alti

Gli attivi hanno un campo magnetico tendenzialmente inferiore ai passivi quindi la vicinanza alle corde raramente è eccesiva.Molti utilizzatori di EMG,per esempio,tengono i pickup particolarmente vicini alle corde perchè pare suonino meglio.Io ho sempre mantenuto una distanza abbastanza intermedia quando li montavo

In addition to the price increase, Gibson will drastically scale back the number of guitar models offered, including the discontinuation of a number finishes and top options on guitars like the Les Paul Standard. Gibson has also announced it will stop producing instruments with the less expensive Satin finish, meaning the end of such sub-$1000 models as the Les Paul Studio Faded. Other changes include the expansion of the Min-ETune automated tuning system, which will be re-branded as "G-Force," as standard on almost all guitars. In celebration of the 100th birthday of Les Paul himself, all 2015 Les Paul models will feature a swirly "Les Paul 100" headstock logo marking a departure from the traditional Les Paul logo seen on the guitar for decades. As for actual specs, Gibson is updating the nut to a brass "Zero Fret Nut" and increasing the neck width on most models. Gibson is, of course, no stranger to changing specs and price increases. This coming update, however, marks what is likely the most drastic change from Gibson USA in recent memory. Here at Reverb, we'll be keenly interested to see how this change impacts the used market. We very well may see an increase in prices on used SG and Les Paul Standards sooner rather than later, and we might also see a rush to swoop up remaining 2014 stock. Grande! Questa non la conoscevo,pur essendo un fanatico Schecter!Complimenti per la collezione comunque,non pensare neanche per sbaglio di venderle,mi raccomando.Hai roba che è rarissima,specialmente in europa!

Io la cosa più vicina che son riuscire ad ottenere è stato un confronto ESP Standard Horizon (quella della serie vecchia) confrontata con una LTD Deluxe H series...legni simili (mogano per il body e acero per il manico),con la LTD avende un impiallaccio figurato direttamente sul mogano,mentre la ESP con impiallaccio sul maple cap: onestamente non ho sentito differenze scandalose,e le poche percepite credo siano state più che altro dovute all'attaccatura del manico diversa fra le due.Ma aspetto di essere smentito.

In teoria dovrebbe aumentare la brillantezza dello strumento...Mai fatto un confronto diretto comunque,va a sapere..

Se cerchi una Charvel a tutti i costi,allora non discuto,altrimenti se la necessità è una chitarra un po' settantiana ti conviene puntare altrove visti i prezzi...GJ2,Schecter USA,Gary Kramer guitars...addirittura una su commissione da qualche liutaio nostrano,tipo Onirica..

Che vuoi comprare? son curioso Ad ogni modo credo convenga in primis accordarsi con i venditori circa la spedizione internazionale ed eventuali assicurazioni a riguardo (per esempio quelli di Chicago Music Exchange assicurano la spedizione internazionale raggiunta quota di circa 700$)...poi presumo si possa procedere regolarmente con l'acquisto.

Ah va tranquillo,mi basta guardare il portafogli e passa subito la paura Non ti posso dare torto,soprattutto dopo quello con Frog cominciavo a pensare di portare sfiga con i 3ds Sicuramente,poi dipende anche quanto uno tende a stufarsi di un pickup che suona comunque bene (preso per ipotesi che questi suonino bene,ovviamente)...Se sei un chitarrista con una buona attività live - e non parlo di palchi ma di sagre,concertini in pubs e via - può essere che la cosa ti importi in modo poco rilevante;ho visto gente tirare fuori suoni splendidi con strumentazioni estremamente economiche,di poca pretesa,gente interessata ad arrrangiarsi con quel che ha. Se sei un chitarrista "da camera",che ama cambiare gear per il gusto di provare un po' tutto,allora sei rassegnato all'idea di perderci bei soldoni
